Currently the number one cycle trail in New Zealand, the West Coast Wilderness Trail, begins or ends in Ross. A Grade 2 easy cycle trail that can be cycled across 2 - 3 days.

Glow Worms

A night-time activity, follow the Greenland Track Road, and spot the pockets of Glow Worms on the right-hand banks and up into the Walkway Track.
